U.R.G.E. acts to help children. Where there is a lack, U.R.G.E. seeks to make enduring contributions: to improve the communities in which children learn, live and grow, in hopes of nourishing their future.

Donation provides equipment and supplies for the physical education department and football (soccer) program.

URGE Partners with Africa Alive to Assist Five Aafrican Countries

Ziggy creates public service announcements for radio and TV while U.R.G.E. sponsors soccer camps, penpal programs and music programs.

URGE "Adopts" Marigold's Children's Home in Jamaica

Home cares for young children who have become wards of the state. U.R.G.E. made donations of supplies, repairs and ongoing maintenance.

Proceeds of Govinda's Fitness Foods Hemp Bar Donated to U.R.G.E.

Ziggy endorses Hemp Bars to promote the benefits of Hemp and raise funds for U.R.G.E.

URGE Partners with Inter-Community Development (ICODEI) to Raise AIDS Awareness in Africa

ICODEI, who fight the spread of AIDS and other STDs through education, communication campaigns and mobile tele-video shows, is a grassroots Kenyan organization dedicated to improving conditions in the Bungoma District of Western Kenya. U.R.G.E. conducted fundraising efforts for the ICODECI, sponsored Jamaican university students on trips to Kenya, and were involved in areas such as AIDS education, building libraries and agricultural programs.

"Fashion URGE" Raises Funds

Show hosted by Miss Massachusetts 2000 donated ticket proceeds to U.R.G.E. and featured fashion talent from the Nigel Ramsey and Marie Galvin Collections, accessories by Sarian Boston, and hair by top salon, Safar Coiffure. The event was sponsored by The Knockout Foundation (A Division of The Fund for Autistic Children), Bostonfashion.com and Andrew Swaine Photography.
