Ziggy accepts Variety Magazine’s Visionary Award for One Love film

Last week, on behalf of Bob Marley: One Love and everyone who contributed to the film, Ziggy Marley accepted the Variety Visionary Award at the Faith & Spirituality in Entertainment Honors.

“Bob’s music brings people together, but his revolutionary ideas can sometimes be overlooked. To truly understand his message, you have to see the human being—his struggles, his faith, his courage,” Ziggy shared.

Presented by Variety and the Coalition for Faith and Media (CFAM), the award recognizes the film for its portrayal of Bob Marley’s faith and spiritual beliefs—the foundation that gave him strength, shaped his worldview, and fueled his lifelong mission of love, justice, and unity.
